Spice Up Your Taco Tuesday with Spicy Mango Shrimp Tacos!

If you’re looking for a fun and healthy way to spice up your Taco Tuesday, look no further than these Spicy Mango Shrimp Tacos. Not only are they delicious, but they also pack a punch of nutrients that will leave you feeling satisfied and energized.

First things first, let’s talk about the star of the show: shrimp. Not only is shrimp low in calories and high in protein, but it’s also an excellent source of selenium, which helps support a healthy immune system. Plus, when paired with mango salsa (more on that later), it creates the perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavors.

To start off this recipe, you’ll need to marinate your shrimp in a mixture of olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper. If you want an extra kick of heat (and who doesn’t?), feel free to add some red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper as well. Once your shrimp are coated in this flavorful marinade, grill them up until they’re cooked through – this should take just a few minutes.

Now onto the mango salsa – arguably one of the best parts of this dish. Mangoes are packed with vitamins A and C which help boost immunity and promote healthy skin. They’re also naturally sweet which makes them the perfect complement to spicy foods like our seasoned shrimp.

For this salsa recipe all you’ll need is diced mangoes mixed with diced red onion (for crunch), jalapeño (for heat) cilantro (for freshness) lime juice (for tanginess). Mix everything together in a bowl until combined then set aside until ready to serve.

When it comes time to assemble your tacos there are endless possibilities for toppings! You can use traditional taco toppings such as shredded lettuce or cheese or try something new like sliced avocado or pickled onions.

A little tip: Don’t forget about tortillas! For a healthier option opt for corn tortillas instead of flour. Corn tortillas are lower in calories and higher in fiber which will help keep you fuller longer.

Once everything is ready, it’s time to assemble your tacos! Start by placing your grilled shrimp on the bottom of the tortilla followed by a generous spoonful of mango salsa. Add any additional toppings, like avocado or pickled onions, then fold up your taco and enjoy!

That’s it! These Spicy Mango Shrimp Tacos are easy to make, delicious and healthy – what more could you ask for? So next Taco Tuesday (or any day really) give this recipe a try and let us know what you think.
