Place your washed papaya on your cutting board with one end facing upward towards you. Using your sharp knife cut about half an inch off both ends of the fruit.

Step 4: Cut Your Papayas Lengthwise into Halves

Stand up your now flat-ended washed Papay horizontally on top of one of its wide sides (flat edge). With one hand firmly holding onto each side at either end cut down vertically through its middle so that it splits apart into two halves (top-to-bottom).

Step 5: Remove Seeds from Your Papayas

Using your spoon scoop out all seeds from both halves carefully taking care not to damage any flesh around them while doing so.

Step 6: Slice Your Papayas Into Pieces

Now place each halve back onto their flat cut side face down – slice across every half-inch of its thickness starting from the top down until you reach the bottom, creating small slices.

Step 7: Separate Papaya Skin from Flesh

Next, using a spoon or your hands gently separate the flesh from the skin by sliding it away. Be careful not to damage any part of its flesh while doing so.
