Q: Can you tell us a bit about Travis Barker’s diet and healthy eating habits?

A: Travis Barker, the drummer for Blink-182, has been open about his health journey and the changes he’s made to his lifestyle over the years. One of the biggest changes that he’s made is in regards to his diet.

For many years, Barker struggled with addiction and unhealthy eating habits. However, after surviving a plane crash in 2008, he decided to make some major changes in his life.

One of those changes was cutting out meat from his diet. In an interview with Men’s Health, Barker said that giving up meat helped him feel healthier overall. He also noted that it helped him maintain his weight and stay lean.

In addition to being meat-free, Barker also focuses on eating whole foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. He avoids processed foods as much as possible and tries to cook at home whenever he can.

When it comes to drinks, Barker sticks mostly to water but occasionally indulges in coffee or tea. He also avoids alcohol altogether after struggling with addiction earlier in life.

Q: Does Travis have any favorite healthy snacks or meals?

A: According to various interviews over the years, Travis Barker has a few go-to healthy snacks that help keep him fueled throughout the day.

One of these snacks is almonds. In an interview with Men’s Journal back in 2015, Barker said that he always keeps a bag of almonds nearby because they’re “easy” and “filling.”

He also mentioned liking smoothies with ingredients like kale, spinach, fruits like bananas or berries along with chia seeds or flaxseeds which gives him energy before performances or workouts.

As for meals? It seems like simple whole food-based dishes are what work best for this musician. In an interview with GQ Australia from 2020 , he mentioned enjoying salads filled with veggies like kale & spinach along with avocado, quinoa and sweet potatoes. He also enjoys making his own vegetable stir-fry at home.

Q: How does Travis stay active and fit?

A: Staying active is a big part of Barker’s health routine. In addition to playing drums for hours on end during concerts and rehearsals, he also works out regularly.

Barker’s workouts typically involve a mix of cardio and weightlifting exercises. He’s been known to hit the gym five or six times per week in order to stay in shape.

One of his favorite workouts is boxing, which he says helps him release stress while getting in a good sweat session. He’s even made it a family activity by working out with his kids at their local boxing gym.

In addition to traditional workouts, Barker also stays active by skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding. These activities not only help him maintain his fitness but also provide an outlet for creativity and self-expression.

Q: What advice would you give someone who wants to follow in Travis’s footsteps when it comes to healthy eating habits?

A: If you’re looking to adopt healthier eating habits like Travis Barker has done over the years, there are a few things that you can keep in mind:

1) Start small – instead of trying to overhaul your entire diet overnight, start by incorporating more whole foods into your meals one step at a time. For example, try swapping processed snacks for fresh fruits or veggies as snacks throughout the day

2) Focus on nutrient-dense foods – choose foods that pack a nutritional punch like leafy greens, nuts & seeds or legumes rather than empty calories from fast food or packaged snacks

3) Invest time into meal prep – preparing your own food allows you more control over what goes into your meals ensuring they are healthier options

4) Listen to your body- experiment with different types of diets (i.e., vegetarianism or veganism), pay attention to how your body feels and adjust accordingly.

5) Exercise regularly – find physical activities that you enjoy doing such as walking, running or yoga. Consistency is key in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
