Juicing and Smoothie Recipes for Vegans

As a vegan, it can be challenging to find recipes that are both delicious and nutritious. However, juicing and smoothie recipes provide an excellent way to incorporate a variety of fruits and vegetables into your diet while keeping things interesting. Here are some great options to try:

1. Green Juice: This juice is packed with leafy greens such as kale or spinach, cucumber, celery, lemon or lime juice, and ginger root. You can add apple or pear for sweetness if you prefer.

2. Beetroot Juice: Beetroots are rich in vitamins A, C & K plus iron – making them perfect for vegans who need to keep their iron levels up! Blend the beetroot with apple juice, carrot juice (both high in Vitamin C) along with ginger root.

3. Pineapple-Mint Smoothie: This refreshing smoothie involves blending fresh pineapple chunks with coconut milk (or almond milk), mint leaves & ice cubes.

4. Strawberry-Banana Smoothie: Strawberries contain antioxidants which help fight inflammation in the body while bananas are a great source of potassium – blend these together with oat milk & honey for extra sweetness.

5. Turmeric & Ginger Shot: These two ingredients have anti-inflammatory properties that may aid digestion too- so why not give this shot a try? Mix freshly squeezed orange juice with turmeric powder or grated fresh turmeric root & grated ginger too!

6.Green Matcha Latte : Matcha is loaded with antioxidants , amino acids making it good option to start your day .Blend matcha powder , non dairy milk like soy , almond or coconut along agave nectar .

7.Citrus Blast : Citrus fruits like oranges grapefruits lemons limes etc..are packed full of vitamin c which helps boost our immune system fighting off infections.Blend up your mix citrus fruit choice alongside banana nut butter .

Experiment with different combinations or try adding in superfoods such as chia seeds, flaxseeds, spirulina, or maca powder for an extra nutritional boost.
