While nutritional yeast offers numerous health benefits, it is important to be aware of potential side effects or allergies that some individuals may experience.

1. Gastrointestinal issues: One common side effect of consuming nutritional yeast is gastrointestinal discomfort, such as bloating, gas, or diarrhea. This can occur due to the high fiber content present in nutritional yeast. If you are new to incorporating this ingredient into your diet, start with small amounts and gradually increase the serving size to allow your body time to adjust.
