Next up is adding the spices – turmeric, coriander, cumin powders along with optional chili powder if you prefer spicy food. Cook these spices for about two minutes until they release their aromas.

Now add your diced tomatoes or tomato puree to the pan along with the chicken pieces. Stir everything together well so that chicken gets coated in all of these flavorsome spices!

Serve hot with rice/quinoa/noodles/bread of your choice accompanied by some green veggies like spinach/cabbage/carrots/broccoli etc., which can be steamed/sautéed in a separate pan and served alongside or on top.
